Police Constable (PC) Simon Read, who was on duty and in uniform at the time of the incident, claimed that he did not intentionally scan the wrong barcode while out shopping at Tesco Extra in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England, on February 10. He was accused of breaching two professional standards, of discreditable conduct and of honesty and integrity. The 37-year-old said that he was not paying attention when he scanned the barcode for a bag of carrots twice instead of the barcode for the doughnuts....

Video footage emerged showing an officer with his knee on the suspect’s neck, with the black man handcuffed on the ground and repeatedly shouting “get off my neck.” The incident took place in Islington, north London. Met Police confirmed that a second officer has been removed from operational duty following the incident on July 17. It comes following the death of George Floyd in America at the hands of a white police officer, who knelt on his neck as he begged for his life, leading to global anti-racism protests....

CBS Local reported that the incident happened on November 15, when officer Scott Schoenwetter observed a car swerving wildly. He turned on his lights, and the driver pulled to the side of the road. Upon exiting the vehicle, the officer gave the man, identified as 27-year-old Nicholas Layton, a field sobriety test, which he failed. Schoenwetter ran the man’s ID and saw that he had three previous DUI offenses. He then ran the car’s license plate number, only to discover it was not registered to the vehicle....
