Dana Fisher, 39, a sergeant at Ridgeland Correctional Institution, has been charged with distribution of methamphetamines, providing contraband to an inmate and misconduct in office, the South Carolina Department of Correction said in a statement. Fisher was arrested after allegedly bringing in a bag of Blow Pops, which included suckers that tested positive for meth, on May 7, officials said. A federal judge in Little Rock, Arkansas sentenced Eric Scott Kindlay, 53, to life in prison plus five years. Kindlay had previously been found guilty in March 2020 of two counts of sexual assault and possession of a firearm. He would reportedly drive throughout the country transporting people who had been arrested on out-of-state warrants....

The House Foreign Affairs Committee is having difficulty obtaining evidence from Connecticut Republican Robert Hyde, according to a Monday report from NBC. Feds claim that Ken Ravenell, 60, assisted convicted drug kingpin Richard Byrd in a multistate marijuana distribution and money-laundering scheme from 2009-2014. During that period, Ravenell defended Byrd in his drug conspiracy trial. Byrd had been responsible for one of Baltimore’s “biggest drug crews in recent history,” according to DEA officials. Prosecutors allege that Ravenell aided Byrd and helped him conceal his crimes. The indictment states that Ravenell knowingly protected and assisted his co-conspirators by teaching them about law enforcement techniques in order to evade detection....

A subcommittee at the RNC unanimously voted Thursday to advance a resolution to censure Cheney and Kinzinger for their criticism of former President Donald Trump and their involvement with the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack against the U.S. Capitol.
