Phelan Mcdermid Syndrome Symptoms Causes Treatment
The syndrome was first described in 1985 in the medical literature. In 1988, a group of doctors highlighted a case they had seen where a patient was missing a part of the long arm of chromosome 22 at the Society of Human Genetics meeting.
