Since President Vladimir Putin launched his full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, open-source tracker Oryx has been keeping tabs on Russian equipment. It monitors how many vehicles have been destroyed or seized, verifying this with photo or video evidence. Citing Oryx, Ukrainian news outlet TSN said Kyiv’s forces had captured 388 pieces of Russian equipment between September 7 and 11. Of this total, 200 “are in good condition.”...

The Center for Medical Progress and its founder David Daleiden were found guilty of fraud, trespassing and illegal secret recording. Lawyers for the plaintiff alleged that the anti-abortion activists used underhanded and illegal tactics to advance their agenda, and the federal jury in San Francisco agreed. Planned Parenthood says that clandestinely recorded video footage was manipulated and edited to make it appear as though they were attempting to profit off of fetal tissue donations, something they deny has ever taken place....

A snowplow operator named Donny Klarmann posted the video of the incident on his Facebook page. The video shows two Orthodox Jews, wearing signature black overcoats and wide-brimmed hats, walking on a snowy road in New Jersey’s Lakewood township. Klarmann then drops his vehicle’s plow down as he drives past the individuals, spraying them with a large wave of snow. Klarmann and an unidentified passenger in the vehicle laugh as it happens....

During this time of year, a population of polar bears begin gathering on the shores of the Hudson Bay near Churchill in Canada. The polar bears return to the bay every year when it freezes over for winter, to feast on seals, and scientists gather to watch the migration take place and study the polar bears’ movements. They even set up a live stream for the public to follow. Polar Bear week, which takes place from October 30 to November 5, honors the unique gathering....
