Junius Ho was attacked on Wednesday in his constituency at around 8:45 a.m. according to the Hong Kong Free Press. A video of the incident shows a man handing the lawmaker flowers and thanking him for his hard work, before reaching into his bag, withdrawing a knife and stabbing Ho while shouting, “Junius Ho, you scum!” The attacker was quickly overpowered and subdued by bystanders, assisted by Ho.
