The nephew of Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly was arrested Sunday in Buffalo, N.Y., after an incident at a local bar, The Buffalo News reported. According to the police report, the 20-year-old Kelly punched a bouncer in the face and later said he was “going to go to my car and get my AK-47 and spray this place.” The News reported that police pulled Kelly from that vehicle, a Ford F-150 pickup, and took him, kicking, screaming and swinging, into custody....

The incident occurred moments after a Volkswagen sedan pushed through a group of protesters on bikes on the Brooklyn Bridge at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, a spokesman for the New York Police Department told Newsweek. The spokesman said when the vehicle attempted to move through the traffic, a cyclist jumped onto the hood of the vehicle. The Volkswagen then sped off with the man on the hood. Police couldn’t say how fast the vehicle was going, but said the matter remains under investigation....

On April 5, 44-year-old Tommie McGlothen Jr. died while in police custody. When family members went to see his body, they told KSLA 12 News that the entire right side of his face was swollen and that he also had a broken nose and jaw. Witnesses of the arrest said that police were called after McGlothen allegedly fought with a man living in the neighborhood where the arrest took place....

Videos on social media showed demonstrators started marching peacefully through the streets of Hollywood during the day. But as night fell, protesters faced off against police in riot gear near the intersection of Vine Street and Lexington Avenue. At around 10 p.m., Vishal Singh tweeted that “LAPD just ran over two protesters at the Hollywood Breonna Taylor march.” Singh, a reporter, posted a video that showed the police cruiser speeding forward, knocking off two protesters who had climbed onto the car’s hood....

A woman told police that she was subjected to forced sexual intercourse between 2:15 and 9:30 a.m. CT Sunday after the team’s return from a win Saturday at Rutgers. The 66-year-old beachgoer, William Koziarz, was taken to Bayfront Health hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff’s deputies report. Officer Natasha Hindman, 27, was reported to be driving a marked police car, a Ford Explorer cruiser, at a slow speed along the beach around 6 p.m. (local time) on May 8 when the left tires of the vehicle drove over the man’s hips, according to the sheriff’s office....

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation issued a statement on Thursday alleging that Wilson Police Department officers Joshua Taylor, 25, and Brandon Dingman, 34, shocked Jared Lakey “multiple times” on July 4, 2019, leading to the 28-year-old’s death two days later. Taylor and Dingman were responding to a call about Lakey acting in a disorderly way when they allegedly shocked him several times for not obeying orders, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation....

According to police, Van Hassel was walking his dog on the street in Douglas, North Dakota when he noticed some young boys having a snowball fight nearby. One of the group threw a snowball in his direction, and Van Hassel began cursing and throwing rocks back at the group. He then charged into the group, according to reports, isolating one of the kids—a nine-year-old boy—and allegedly pushed him into a truck, knocking him to the ground....
