The Siena College Research Institute found that 44 percent of registered voters in the Empire State think Cuomo has committed sexual harassment, while 22 percent think he hasn’t. Roughly one-third of voters said they didn’t know or had no opinion. The findings come as Cuomo faces several allegations that he sexually harassed or behaved inappropriately toward women whom he either worked with or met elsewhere. The alarm was sounded when the young female bear was seen wandering up to huts in the remote settlement of Dikson in the Krasnoyarsk region on Wednesday. A team from Moscow Zoo flew out to help the bear, arriving in the region in the evening after a delay due to bad weather. “After disturbing reports about a bear that came out to people with a metal can of condensed milk in its mouth in the village of Dikson in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an emergency meeting of the working group on the polar bear cub rescue program was held,” Svetlana Akulova, director general of Moscow Zoo, said in a post alongside video of the rescue on Telegram....

Pastor Steve Ramer, from the Fort Collins Mennonite Fellowship alerted the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado (ACLU) to the August 22 confrontation between the officer and a community member. Following a call by church staff, emergency medical crews arrived at the scene that day to help calm the woman, the ACLU complaint said, according to 9 News. However, when the Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) officer later arrived amid lights and sirens, the incident, “escalated the interaction into a violent confrontation,” the complaint said....

These sometimes tragic and unfortunate events have hurt officers too, whether they serve in a particular city where an incident occurs or not. It’s harder for officers to serve their communities when people want nothing to do with their local cops.
