Though golfers aren’t new to the flower-print pants game — see: Billy Horschel and John Daly — Thomas got his outfit to match. He also played well, finishing his first round at 1-under par.
Thomas is active on social media. His budding friendship with Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler led to entertaining and controversial posts. Mostly entertaining.
His wardrobe Thursday is fine, but as the old saying goes, “You’d better play well if you’re going to wear those.”
So far so good for Thomas.
