Knicks fans have reason to be wary after audio surfaced of New York’s general manager joking (hopefully) about purposely destroying the team. A reporter asked Jackson what parts of his new job he gets joy out of. Jackson’s response wasn’t what Knicks fans were expecting.

“It’s not something I really wanted to do,” Jackson said before mentioning his partner and Lakers part-owner Jeanie Buss encouraged him to take the job to wrecking a team he loved. This might be funny if the Knicks weren’t the worst team in the NBA with a 13-51 record.
