Phil Mickelson Leaves Generous Tip To Youngsters Selling Lemonade

For siblings Roland and Elise Karsen, putting their stand strategically outside Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, paid off big Thursday.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, a thirsty Mickelson bought a $1 lemonade and left the youngsters a $99 tip.

“All we were doing was sitting here, and all we saw was this white car drive up, and it was close, and he said ‘Can I have a glass of lemonade?’ and all it took was one little thing for him to give us a good tip,” 6-year-old Roland told The Dispatch.

Realizing they had been handed a $100 bill from Mickelson, not a $10, sister Elise, 8, came up with the perfect response — “Whoa.”
