Throughout the season, the Bucs will honor Willie Stargell and the rest of the “We Are Family” Bucs by wearing throwback uniforms during Sunday home games. Today marked the first such game, so we got to see the uniforms in action for the first time. They looked great.

Back then, the Pirates had a variety of colorful mix-and-match uniform combinations. In Game 7 of the Fall Classic against the Orioles, the team wore v-neck pullover yellow jerseys with black, belt-less pants and its signature black pillbox hats. That’s the look the team will be duplicating this season. Take a look:
