During Detroit’s win over the Spurs on Jan. 7, the Pistons coach uttered a now-famous phrase as he tried to get his squad to stop a last-second tip at the buzzer.
“We just form a f—ing wall here,” Van Gundy told his team.
The whole thing was caught on tape by an in-arena camera, much to the delight of the Internet.
It looks as though Detroit has embraced the silliness of the entire thing, much to Van Gundy’s chagrin.
