But the president isn’t quite off the hook. Reno is still under pressure from her own FBI director, Louis Freeh, to sic a special prosecutor on the whole affair, and the congressional Republicans are still trying to draw blood. And Clinton, who continues to fund-raise with abandon, may yet give them the ammunition they need.
