Boatman is one of the founding members of the celebrated group ‘The Hendon Mob’ - a group of players who played poker in Hendon, England who helped put the UK on the international poker map over 15 years ago. Joe Beevers, Ram Vaswani and Barny’s brother, Ross, were also part of the legendary group.

SOTIROPOULOS SECURES THIRD BRACELET FOR GREECE
It has been a week to remember for the Greeks at WSOP Europe. Coming into Berlin, Greece had never won a gold bracelet at the World Series of Poker - now, they have three! Following wins by Makarios Avramidis and Pavlos Xantopoulos, it was 2013 EPT Deauville runner-up Georgios Sotiropoulos’ time to shine. Sotiropoulos, who currently ranks a career-best #111 on the GPI World Poker Rankings, won the No Limit Hold’em Turbo event on Sunday:
