Police In Kansas City Ready For The Royals Celebration

Back then, Ronald Reagan was just about a year into his second term as President of the United States. Gas prices hovered around a buck per gallon.

So, yes, it’s been a while. The Royals’ magic number is one, which means either a Kansas City win tonight (on the road against the White Sox) or a Seattle loss (at home against the Angels) means K.C. locks up a playoff berth. 

Safe to say the residents there are ready to celebrate, and everybody is ready.  

Yep. Be safe, K.C.
