Following the attacks over the weekend that left three officers dead and three wounded in Baton Rouge, La., Dunn reflected on his mother’s death. The attacks happened in Dunn’s hometown, which makes the killings feel even more personal for him.

On Sunday, he wrote a Facebook post to tell people his feelings, and to ask the community to “stop the violence, to cool down and to come together to figure this out.”
