Here are the numbers from the Saturday night drawing.

First five: 11-13-22-27-46Powerball: 20Power Play: 2x

As there was no winning ticket on Saturday, the jackpot will increase to $268 million with a cash option of $184.2 million for the next drawing on Thursday, June 3

Here are the winning numbers from last Wednesday’s drawing (May 26):

First Five: 02-08-21-34-62 Powerball: 16 Power Play: 2x

The Powerball jackpot on May 26 was $236 million but there was no grand prize winner. However, a ticket was sold in Texas that matched all five white balls minus the red Powerball for the second prize of $1 million. If the ticketholder had purchased the Power Play for an additional $1, their prize would have been worth $2 million.

Powerball is a multi-state lottery that’s usually played every Wednesday and Saturday. It’s one of the nation’s two biggest lottery jackpot games, along with Mega Millions. Powerball jackpots start at $20 million, while there are prizes paying between $1 million to $2 million with a Power Play. Powerball tickets cost $2. You can check the winning numbers, including any past results, on the official Powerball website.

Two months ago, the Powerball had three jackpot winners in four drawings. A ticket sold in Maryland scooped the $731.1 million jackpot on Wednesday 01/20/21. The game was then reset to the $20 million minimum prize on Saturday 01/23/21. This prize was also won on 01/30/21.

The last Powerball grand prize winner was for a drawing on March 27. That drawing was worth $238 million

Powerball offers nine different ways to win. If you match the Powerball and no other numbers, you win a prize of $4. You can win more if you purchase the power play for an extra $1. Matching one ball plus the Powerball will win you the same prize, while matching two numbers and the Powerball is worth $7. Three correct numbers without the Powerball will also pay out $7.

If a player matches all five white balls minus the Powerball, the prize is $1 million and this can be multiplied if power play was purchased. Matching all five white balls plus the red Powerball is required to win the jackpot.
