However, a ticket was sold in Texas that matched all five white balls minus the red Powerball for the second prize of $1 million. If a player matches all five white balls minus the Powerball, the prize is $1 million and this can be multiplied if power play was purchased. Matching all five white balls plus the red Powerball is required to win the jackpot.
