The winning numbers for the draw were 19-43-47-60-68 with a Powerball of 10. The total jackpot for the draw was an estimated $40 million with a cash option of $25.9 million.
There was also a 2X Powerplay, meaning the amount of money awarded to all non-jackpot winning tickets is doubled for all those who paid an extra $1.
However, according to Powerball there were no winning tickets for the main $40 million jackpot, nor for the total $2 million grand prize for anyone who matched all five white balls numbered between one to 69 but not the red Powerball numbered from one to 26.
Six people did manage to match four white balls and one red Powerball, meaning they each take home $50,000. An additional two players had their winnings doubled to $100,000 because of the 2X PowerPlay after paying the additional $1.
The money will now be rolled onto the next draw on Sunday, July 21. The estimated jackpot for that currently stands at $53 million, with a cash value of $34.3 million.
According to Powerball, the odds of correctly choosing all five white balls and the one red Power Ball is around one in 1 in 292,201,338.
Elsewhere, Powerball officials are still urging people in Tennessee to check their tickets as one person is currently holding one which won a $198 million jackpot.
The unknown winner managed to match all five white balls and one red ball on the Saturday, July 13, draw. Powerball said the winning ticket was purchased at the Worsham’s Market, 2030 New Hope Road, Hendersonville.
The Tennessee Lottery are advising whoever has the winning ticket to sign the back it, keep it in a secure location, consult with a financial advisor, and call the Lottery’s headquarters in Nashville before coming to claim the prize. The winner must come forward within 180 days of the drawing in order to claim their money.
Bobby Worsham, owner of the Worsham’s Market store where the winning ticket was purchased from, has also been awarded a $50,000 selling bonus.
There have been 76 people in Tennessee who have won $1 million or more on Powerball, including seven who won the jackpot.
The previous jackpot winner scooped $420.9 million in November 26, 2016 after purchasing their ticket in Lafayette.
