The campaign, which will be interrupted by the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will conclude on May 28.
Below is your day-by-day guide to all the fixtures of the new campaign. The complete Matchday 1 schedule is set, including times.
There will be three midweek matchdays that will be played in order to fit the season by May 28 and still account for the World Cup break:
Tues-Wed, Aug. 30-31 Tues-Wed, Oct. 18-19 Tues-Wed, April 25-26
The final matches before the World Cup break will take place on Nov. 12-13 and then the teams will return to the field in time for Boxing Day on Dec. 26. The rest of the holiday schedule will see matches on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and on Jan. 2.
In addition to the nearly month-long FIFA World Cup break, there are two international FIFA fixture windows between Sept. 19-27, 2022 and March 20-28, 2023.
Although the Premier League opening weekend and midweek fixture times are all set, the rest of the weekend fixtures throughout the rest of the season simply have a placeholder for now: Saturdays at 15:00 BST/10:00 ET. As broadcasters fill out their schedules, matches will inevitably be moved into other time slots over the course of each weekend.
