Add Procter & Gamble to the list of those concerned.
On behalf of its Crest toothpaste brand, the company on Friday canceled its league-wide initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, according to a CBS Sports report.
The idea was to have one player from each team serve as an “ambassador” of the campaign by engaging in different forms of social media, according to the report, and those players were notified of the cancelation.
The NFL released a reaction statement later Friday.
