New questions may also be raised about Vincent Foster’s Whitewater files. White House aides acknowledged last week that after Foster’s suicide, Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Maggie Williams, moved a box holding the files to a locked White House closet. Clinton lawyer Robert Barnett later took the box to his office. A memo by an aide who helped Williams suggests the White House knew the files were relevant to “ongoing or past investigations.” But spokesman David Dreyer said last week the memo is “poorly written and wrong.”
